mobile-powerIs your website optimized for mobile?

Truthfully, there’s a lot of websites out there that aren’t. However, now is the time to make that changeover. Google is increasingly using mobile optimization as one of the components it uses to determine Page Rank. A recent survey by Search Engine Watch indicated that 50% of internet users occasionally use mobile to search. (source)

At our next free Lunch and Learn event, we’re going to be teaching you the benefits of optimizing your website for mobile. Bring a lunch, and plan to hang out for awhile at our office in Minturn. We’ll provide drinks while we teach you not just why you should be optimizing your website for mobile, but how you can use mobile to help drive leads and sales.

When was the last time you used a phone book? The last time I used one, it took me twenty minutes to find it. When I finally did find it, it was on the bottom bookshelf, forlorn and dusty, under some old Better Homes and Gardens magazines from three years ago. Most of the time, I just hop on my laptop, even if I’m looking for a phone number. But if I’m away from home, I’m using mobile technology to help me find what I’m looking for.

Increasingly, people are cutting ties with desktops, and even using laptops only for activities that they know will take up a lot of time or computer memory. More and more computer functions are being done on mobile devices. You can even run Microsoft Word on a phone! As more millennials graduate college and move into the job force, we’ll see more people with more spending power, using mobile to drive spending habits. Making sure that your site is mobile-friendly will definitely have an impact on your business in the years to come.

We’ve only touched on the importance of mobile. During our Lunch and Learn event, you’ll learn more facts about why optimizing for mobile is more important than it’s ever been. Plus, we’ll show you how to use mobile marketing to drive action, and how to create content with and for mobile. You’ll leave the session with the tools to map out a strategy for mobile marketing, with a full understanding of how it will benefit your business.
